Give And It Will Be Given Back To You

"Use whatever gift you have received to serve one another, as faithful stewards of God's grace" 1 Peter 4:10.
As a young adult, what does it mean to volunteer? Volunteering is when someone spends unpaid time doing something to help others. Helping close friends or relatives is not equivalent to volunteering. Examples of volunteering for others may include neighborhood cleanups and distributing food to homeless shelters.
The more we give, the happier we are. The action of helping others may also boost your self confidence. When you volenteer you're helping people and the community, which gives you a natural sense of achievement. Volunteering can also provide you with a sense of purpose and identity. Volunteering is vital because it builds communities, promotes personal development, and helps people in need. It fosters relationships, and enhances general well-being. Volunteering allows people to make a significant difference in the lives of others while also finding personal fulfillment and a sense of purpose.
I volunteer to improve my professional abilities, to network with others, and to have fun. Some examples of a few causes I have volunteered for are a YMCA Thanksgiving clean-up and distributing food for people in need. I genuinely enjoy helping people who are less fortunate than I am, and I enjoy giving back to my community. I volunteer out of the kindness of my heart and putting a smile on others' faces makes me happy.
I am thankful that my family has instilled in me the spirit of volunteering. The Bible encourages us to do good in secret to avoid hypocrisy and to seek God's pleasure rather than human credit. In Matthew 6:1-4, Jesus advises that when you donate to the needy, you should not make a big deal about it like the hypocrites do. Those who are recognized and honored by others have already earned their reward; instead, your "Father Who Sees in Secret" will reward you openly.
One of my favorite musical artists, Lauryn Hill stated “Without the power of God behind everything I do, I am completely inadequate.”
