Downtown Fort Wayne Prepares for 2025 Fright Night

Downtown Fort Wayne is thrilled to announce the return of its spookiest tradition, Fright Night, presented by ProFed Credit Union, taking place on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Now in its 16th year, this beloved event draws thousands of costumed participants and families for a full day of spooky, silly, and scream-worthy fun.

The festivities begin at noon at Zombie Central, located at the Allen County Public Library Plaza. Attendees can enjoy themed activities and entertainment throughout the afternoon. The centerpiece of the event, the ever-popular Zombie Walk, will step off from Zombie Central at3:00 p.m., with thousands of undead participants expected to flood the streets.

“Fright Night continues to be one of our most anticipated events of the year,” said Downtown Fort Wayne Events & Programs Manager Tamara Cummins. “From the Zombie Walk to creative community activities, it's a chance for families, friends, and fans of all things spooky to experience Downtown like never before.”

A full schedule of Fright Night programming featuring dozens of free and low-cost community events hosted by downtown partners will be announced in early fall.
