7th Annual Women’s History Month Brunch When: March 9, 2019

The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., the Eta Upsilon Zeta Chapter, hosted their 7th Annual Women’s History Month Brunch at Link’s Wonderland, titled “Visionary Women: Champions of Peace and Nonviolence, and Military Women.”  Guest speaker for the event was Diana Jackson-Davis, PhD, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Parkview Health.

Six honorees were celebrated for their work creating a peaceful community, with a special distinction for military women.  Susan Chipps, Executive Director/Market Director of Chase Wealth Management, Jackson Lehman Family YMCA Executive Director Tabitha Ervin, YWCA of Northeast Indiana Executive Director Becky Hill, Angela Presley, the founder of mother’s grief movement Alonna’s Song, United States Navy veteran and mental health therapist Kim Rozier, and Shirley Woods, Euell Wilson Center founder and president.

Included in the recognition were two Zeta members, called Zeta Doves, with over 50 years of sorority service, Edna Metoyer (65+ years of service) and Mary Simpson (a Zeta since 1952).
