Musical Tribute When: Feb. 16, 2018

Fort Wayne’s own Tasha DeNae performed, on the same bill as Ty Causey, at the Walb Student Union for a musical tribute to black history titled A Dynamite Experience, a Friend of Friends production.
“I had an amazing time performing at home. It was great to see all my family and friends in the building,” DeNae said. “I actually performed in that very same room years ago, so it was great to be back doing a show with Ty Causey. His performance was amazing. I am glad ‘Friend of Friends’ put this show together to honor our Black History.”
DeNae opened the show with a James Brown Song, playing once again with the band Goodfellas.
“They are all like brothers to me. We played at so many concert venues and events growing up! It’s been over 10 years since we played together so it was definitely great to be back together. They are amazing musicians, it’s like we didn’t miss a beat.”
